I have been reading Dr Govind Sharma's books for some time now. I liked the versatility he had shown in his releases. Having read his fiction books earlier, I was pleasantly surprised to see the release which belonged to non-fiction and the one which is the need of the hour.

The world and society have changed to a greater extent. Gone are the days of arranged marriages. We are witnessing a shift in the pattern where in the love or love cum arrange marriages have become a new normal. I myself had witnessed it in my family involving some close relations.

Through this book, the author has tried to analyse the situation through his experience and viewpoint. Though this book is a quick read, the message that he tried to convey through each and every chapter of these 7 chapters were intense and involves some deep reading.

It would make you retrospect because you may have already gone through the situation in your life or might be going through it at the present moment, or may witness it happening in your life, sooner or later. Chapters 3 to 6 were of imaginary stories but the characters that were discussed in each of these stories were versatile. It showed the importance of being in love, trusting your life partner, staying away from obsession, being vigilant from others who are trying to exploit you and your kindness to name a few.

These would surely be a learning point for the youngsters who are yet to get into marital relationships as these could help them avoid being caught in the trap, irrespective of gender. Do give it a read and do not forget to pick your copy.
