New Delhi, October 13, 2021: After two major lockdowns, the restaurant industry was and still contemplating its business revival. India’s largest restaurant technology company, inresto by dineout, conducted survey research to gauge the sentiments of restaurateurs with respect to owning the customer data, targeted marketing solutions, and the role of technology in business revival. The survey was conducted in 8 major cities including Delhi -NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and others. User groups who participated in the survey consisted of restaurant industry professionals like owners, general managers, and consultants among others. The survey resulted in the shared view of the industry, highlighting the need to save the aggregator commissions & retarget their customers in the most effective way. The sample size collected was 2000 responses.
