This thrilling non-fiction has kept me hooked from the beginning till the end. This is no less of a perfect thriller that has happened in reality. The way this was penned by the author makes it even more interesting and appealing. Loved the way the incident was narrated which has never slumped at any point which I guess is the success of this real story.

There are many incidents like this that never comes to the limelight but when it does, there is no doubt that it goes all the way to capture the heart and the soul of the readers. I am certainly not an exemption. This all begins with Mahendra Singh who hails from a wealthy family and falls in love with the daughter of the then Postmaster General, Gladys. Even before things could go well in their favor, they get separated and she was pregnant. Garnet Milton Shea aka Jack Shea was the symbol of that love which was explained in great detail and perfection that it adds a perfect love element to this otherwise thrilling novel. However, when Jack grows up, it wasn't difficult for him to get married to his lady love Dorothy Hope aka Doe.

For this Doe has to travel all the way from India to Southampton on a 45 days ship journey which shows life wasn't fast and easy those days and they braved the odds to make it happen. Their marriage takes place in 1951 and the incident is set to happen in 1965 after India's war with Pakistan. When the Pakistanis sniff about their Indian counterpart indulging in espionage, the duty of Prem Dewan and his family falls on Jack Shea. He is also attacked at a party that was held in the Indian Deputy High Commissioner's House in Karachi where he gets hospitalized and was in Coma. How he comes out of it and how he saves the family in this high voltage sequence of incidents is all this book is about.

I highly recommend this novel. Jack Shea has received AVSM medal twice. Heroes like him should be celebrated without any doubt or second thought. Let us do our best in making his story go viral.
