1. Beetroot Hummus

 

Ingredients:

● 1 roasted beetroot
● 1 cup boiled chickpeas
● 1 tbsp tahini
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 garlic clove
● 1 tbsp Olive oil
● Salt to taste

Instructions:

● Blend all ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning. Serve chilled.

 

2. Herby Hummus

 

Ingredients:

● 1 cup boiled chickpeas
● 1 tbsp tahini
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● 1/4 cup fresh parsley and coriander
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 garlic clove
● Salt to taste

 

Instructions:

● Blend all ingredients until smooth. Garnish with extra parsley.

 

3. Classic Hummus

 

Ingredients:

● 1 cup chickpeas
● 1 tbsp tahini
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 garlic clove
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● Salt and olive oil to taste

 

Instructions:

● Blend until smooth. You can top this hummus with a tomato, onion, olives, feta and coriander salsa for a loaded hummus plate.

 

4. Baba Ganoush

 

Ingredients:

● 1 large eggplant- roasted
● 1 tbsp tahini
● 1 garlic clove
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● Olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

● Blend roasted eggplant with tahini, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth. Garnish with olive oil.

 

5. Muhammara

 

Ingredients:

● 2 roasted red peppers
● 1/2 cup walnuts
● 2 tbsp olive oil
● 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses (Substitute: Balsamic Vinegar)
● 1 garlic clove
● Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

● Blend all ingredients until smooth. Adjust seasoning.

 

6. Tzatziki

 

Ingredients:

● 1 cup Greek yogurt/ Hung Curd
● 1/2 cucumber, grated
● 1 garlic clove, minced
● 1 tbsp lemon juice
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

● Mix all ingredients. Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

 

Serve these colourful dips with warm pita, falafel, and lavash for a wholesome spread!
