Can you meditate with your eyes Open?

If your answer is NO, you are wrong. Do continue reading this.
If your answer is YES, Congrats. You are right but still continue to read this :-)

The title is really tempting. As soon as I got the book, I could not wait to start reading it because I was always of the opinion that meditation can be done with our eyes closed. Having said that, I should also make my point clear that this book is not about Yoga or anything else that you might think.

As a kid, we all would have read the two greatest epics of all time - Ramayana and Mahabharata. To be honest, I use to watch Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana and B R Chopra's Mahabharata for its visuals and graphics. What more can you expect from a kid?

After reading this book, I was totally taken back for the fact that these epics were penned down not only for its events/stories but also to impart some great morals. Though we may know the gist of it, reading these epics in minute details will throw open a huge treasure of morals, which if put into good use can make yourself see a complete transformation.

I would say that this book is a beehive and each and every chapter gives you the nectar. Since I did say it is nectar, one must understand that the real essence can be extracted to its fullest extent only if you try to explore one chamber at a time. If you are not getting as to what I am trying to say, to make it simpler "Read only one chapter a day". You can read the whole book also at one go and since this is nectar, even if you read all at once, it will not do any harm but you may not get the actual benefits of all the chambers(chapters).

I usually do not read self-help books. I do not have any valid reason for it. It is just that I am not interested on those but this book gave me a different perception since Shubha Vilas has carefully taken the examples from Ramayana and Mahabharata and crafted it perfectly with his wisdom making it a real pleasant read.

There is nothing much I could say about this because I am completely dumbstruck with the sheer excellence of the author and the information he has shared. The book is available on Amazon and Flipkart. Do buy, read and share with your friends as it is surely worth your time and money.
