A beautiful plot that you wouldn't realize what exactly is happening until the end. The protagonist, Meera was born and brought up in Vikramgad. When she gets an opportunity for a job, she has to leave her town. Though she wasn't happy, her mom Chandra gives her the courage to relocate.

Thankfully she did not have to scout for a place to stay as her aunt Radhika was living and was leaving for the USA with her husband Rajiv, and Nisha, her cousin. Meera was in love with Prasanna. earlier.

The culture shock which Meera faces from the sudden transformation of leaving a small town to a bustling metro was captured picture perfectly by the author. She faces trauma after being molested in an unknown location by an unknown person.

This novel, at this juncture takes a different turn when she meets her college/childhood friends Dee and Pari. While she was uncertain about how to face life, these two stood as rock-solid support for her. Meera also had a habit of conversing with her diary. Do not miss out on this as it captures the emotion candidly.

There are a few things that I liked about this novel.

1. This isn't a usual story

2. This gives a strong message to the women out there

3. Suicide isn't an option for those who face issues like molestation

4. Revenge is sweet but one must understand that not everything would end up with this as it makes life, hell.

5. If you feel insecure or have the intention of committing suicide, kindly reach out to various suicide helplines like Sneha.

6. Anything is curable and life has to be approached in a positive way.

7. Be brave. Admit, if you need support. Do not take things on hand or put in other words, do not take things for granted

The story has unexpected twists in the end which I am sure would surprise you. A novel worth your time and money.
