Goa’s First-Ever Mock Sangeet Brings Shaadi Vibes Without the Wedding

Goa’s nightlife is getting a Bollywood twist this October! Jugnu in Assagao is hosting the city’s first-ever Mock Sangeet – a full-fledged Indian wedding celebration, but without the wedding.

On Saturday, 4th October, guests can expect lehenga twirls, sherwani swag, dhol beats, and thumkas, alongside quirky cocktails like Shaadi Ka Ladoo and desi bites like Paneer Ki Rasmein. The event captures the energy, music, and colors of a traditional sangeet – minus the rishtedars, RSVP stress, or wedding planning.

“Everyone loves the energy of a big fat Indian wedding, but not everyone wants the drama. With Jugnu Ki Sangeet, we’re bringing that joy, music, and colour to Goa in a way that’s fresh, inclusive, and unforgettable,” says Vicky Bachani, Co-Founder of Jugnu."

Highlights:

  1. A unique, immersive cultural experience in Goa.
  2. Perfect for travelers and locals looking for something different in the city’s nightlife and event scene.
  3. Blends food, music, and fashion into one Instagrammable experience.
