I cannot disagree with his view since this book, though appear simple from the outside( I mean the cover page which is not over hyped or glossy), gives you the tips and tricks as to how you could lead a healthy life.  The book talks in great detail about: Cancer Thyroid Loss of appetite  Hypertension & Cholesterol, BP Depression and few other ailments which are an increasing trend in the recent decade. Manjari has taken a novel way in explaining all these through stories where she has implanted few imaginary characters and what they go through, what made them to go through it, how were they diagnosed and how they had overc...

Book Review - Lo-Fi + Mashups: A Journey of Continuance

Title - Lo-Fi + Mashups: A Journey of Continuance Author - Amit Sati Genre - Poems & Anthology Publisher - Pothi ASIN -  B08NVTDNSL A book which is not the usual one you would have come across. To be honest, this is the first book its kind, I have read till date. This book would surely be appealing to those who love to travel and retrospect. You could finish reading this book in an hour but the effect it leaves in you is everlasting. Hence it is advisable to read one or two pages a day. I know it is difficult for a hardcore reader but try doing that and see the magic! As it is mentioned in the description, the book is a combination of poems, monologues, playlists and pictures. I liked the pictures in particular since it makes you delve deep into the meaning, it tries to convey. I do not know how the paperback version would look like but if it is the same as the eBook, if you are an art lover, you would fall for it. Each and every page is well decorated. Amit th...

Rage of the Immortals : The CareTakers

Title - Rage of the Immortals : The CareTakers Author - Kanika Genre - Fantasy(Fiction) Publisher - Notion Press ASIN -  B08NSZ8HZW An interesting fiction story which took me more than a day to finish reading it. Usually, I read 2 books a day but this story was different. It needed lot of attention in detail and hence I decided to stretch my reading time to grasp the essence of it. I felt like watching the movie "Underworld" and also the famous OTT serial "Supernatural" since the characters in this fiction made me think that way. Having said that, I must admit that the characters were handled really well by the author. The story begins with Lt.Sefina aka Kara getting kidnapped. She is taken to the Underworld where she has been deputed as the body guard of Cifer. Cifer had an eminent team which consisted Lily, Bub, Akuma and Asmi. Cifer had a troubled past where he lost his love Ivprith. On the other hand, there was Atom who controlled Heaven. Then there were other...
